Lignano Pineta

Its distinctive spiral-shaped centre was designed by architect Marcello D'Olivo. It offers shopping and nightlife, including long-established bars such as Bar Tenda, a meeting place for younger holidaymakers.

Pineta has a long, equipped beach and a raised promenade linking the beach establishments.

From morning to evening there are entertainment programmes, aqua aerobics, group dancing and sports for all ages.

Pineta's pier, home to La Pagoda bar, offers a walk over the sea and activities including water games and parasailing.

On the evening of 16 August each year, the pier is also a viewpoint for the L'Incendio Del Mare fireworks display.

During summer, Piazza Marcello d'Olivo hosts evening sports events, children's entertainment and live music.
